Karin My is a Swedish musician, singer and songwriter who this year celebrates 30 years as an artist. Her music can be described as melancholic vocal melodies embedded in a landscape of synthesizers and acoustic instruments with orchestral elements, along with song lyrics as if taken from a diary written in the past, read in the present. She has collaborated with ambient giants Carbon Based Lifeforms, the legendary Twice a Man, and super synth band Xenturion Prime, as well as writing music for both film and games.
Karin My also works as a sound artist and has, among other things, sounded Lars Vilks' building “Nimis” on Kullaberg in Skåne. For her performance in Molkom, she has invited Nyed's church choir to collaborate, expect something magnificently beautiful from the stage.
